After starting to carry a daily fixed blade, I eventually realized there wasn't one that quite checked all the boxes for me. There are several mainstays, for sure. But I wanted one very specific that I could never find. Enter the Redhawk. Coming in at just under 7" overall, the Redhawk is a solid medium-sized knife – incorporating an overall curve which helps driving the blade into cuts. It also has a reverse tanto or modified sheepsfoot blade with a small amount of belly, tall blade profile, and 0.12" blade thickness which gives it, in my opinion, one of the most well-rounded blade styles for everyday use.

The acute tip and thin, slicey blade are nice for fine work and puncturing while the handles feature a scalloped area towards the blade for a great pinch grip. It's really comfortable to use and, one of my favorite things I've mentioned about EDC fixed blades for a long time now, it has a full-sized handle with slightly undersize

Let there be light...

Measuring 3.6" long with a 0.740" diameter, the Apollo is the perfect pocket companion. Machined entirely from premium materials with a scooped body shape, the titanium clip is secured to the body with custom, in-house screws while a sapphire lens and clicky tail switch complete the build.

    Powerful and efficient battery options

    All of the power comes from a 14500 lithium ion battery which is the same form factor as a AA but higher voltage for better performance. Included with each light is a Nitecore NL1411R 1100mAh battery with an integrated USB-C port for quick and easy charging. You can also use any 14500-sized battery on the market.

From the inception of Tactile Knife Company we've dreamed of making the best knife we could with the equipment on hand. After some recent upgrades and expansion, we needed a 'Halo' project to push our team and processes to the limit. This had us searching for the right designer.

At a trade show in 2022 the stars aligned. Tired after a long day, we were hangry and asked a few other guys to join us for some Pizza. TJ Schwarz, a prolific designer from Boise, Idaho was one of them and a friendship was founded. We knew we needed to work together and the concept of the Archer Hyper Knife was born.

Utilizing premium materials and a finely-tuned process, every piece of the Archer is painstakingly crafted into a work of machined art. Emphasis was placed on finishing, with no expense spared. The Archer represents a Tactile product through and through – made entirely in house by our talented team and quality you can feel.

When looking back at the history of pocket knives, no one can argue the significance of the classic slipjoint. An industry staple and, for many people, the gateway to higher-end knives, a slipjoint transports you back to a time when simplicity and reliability were paramount. We've been friends with Jared Oeser for a while and, when it finally came time to collaborate on a design, he paid homage to our Texan roots with an unusual, "Bowie" blade shape complemented with an atypical, complex pivot and dash of modern design. After Jared made the first prototype he showed to his neighbor and good friend who is an Army Ranger, hence the name.

A knife is a knife is a knife but the Ranger has a soul that embraces adventure and exploration. The timeless design will make it an heirloom-grade piece in your collection and will fight its way in to your pocket more than you think. Whatever life throws at you, slipjoints have decades of proof that they are a more than capable companion.

Classic Design Meets Modern Production

With our manufacturing style and small batch work flow, the Ranger blurs the lines of a production and custom slipjoint. Before a Ranger is ready to sell we assemble each knife, and hand grind the blade, backspring, and handles to provide a seamless fit. Then, they are disassembled and marked so the handles can be finished and paired back up to the same components from the original fit.

Based on a custom knife Jared sent over, we were able to dial in the pull to a nice 6-7 and create a perfect walk and talk.
