The 100/200 Grit Diamond Stones are very coarse and aggressively remove metal. These stones are meant to reshape, reprofile, and fix damage to blades. For routine maintenance, these stones are too aggressive. 

These medium coarse handles allow you to remove the deeper scratches left from coarser stones with the 400 grit and finish with a great, toothy working edge on the 600 grit.

Each handle has one side of 400 grit (yellow) and the other of 600 grit (green).

The 1500 Grit Diamond Stone is an excellent abrasive for removing scratches from an edge. We’ve tested a lot of stones over the years and we’re giving this one a 5 star rating. It makes a terrific addition to any Wicked Edge kit. The Glass Platens opposite the stones are for mounting and using Lapping Film.

We highly recommend using the product with Lapping Film. We’ve had great success in creating razor sharp results and mirror finishes when using the 6 and 3 Micron Diamond Lapping Film after the 1500 grit Diamond Stones.
