The newest iteration of Jonathan's custom design that originated in 2010 incorporates all the knowledge that he has gained in the years since. With the smoothness that you have come to expect and the newest version of our hollow grind, this knife is built to perform.

This MAC 2 3.5" features our FRAG milling pattern inlaid on both face and lockside scale. All pattern milling done in-house.

The big brother to the MAC 2 is here! With a 3.5” blade in CPM MAGNACUT, and an updated pivots and thumbstud, the 3.5” takes the ultra smooth MAC2 to a new level. 

The McNees Performance Machined Line is a labor of love. I wanted to bring a more affordable line of knives to the market but I would only do it if I could keep them made in the USA. This is not the easiest or most profitable route but it's important to me. All the outsourced work on these is done in the USA and a good portion of the work is done right here in my shop, including fitting locks, detents and sharpening.  As we continue to grow, more processes will be done in house. The MAC 2 3.5" is an extremely pocket friendly and ergonomic design. With lines that flow open or closed. It sports all the features of a full custom.

- Hardware all made in the US.
- Bearings are now Ceramic with Derlin Cage
- Body and clip screws are now TI
-Standoffs are threaded instead of the dockside handle, so there is now body screws on both sides
-Standoffs now have shoulders that fit into counterbores. ( Acts as locating pins to hold everything together more precisely)
- Now have a milled pocket for the base of the clip.
