The big brother to the MAC 2 is here! With a 3.5” blade in CPM MAGNACUT, and an updated pivots and thumbstud, the 3.5” takes the ultra smooth MAC2 to a new level.
The McNees Performance Machined Line is a labor of love. I wanted to bring a more affordable line of knives to the market but I would only do it if I could keep them made in the USA. This is not the easiest or most profitable route but it's important to me. All the outsourced work on these is done in the USA and a good portion of the work is done right here in my shop, including fitting locks, detents and sharpening. As we continue to grow, more processes will be done in house. The MAC 2 3.5" is an extremely pocket friendly and ergonomic design. With lines that flow open or closed. It sports all the features of a full custom.

Updates for the new Get 2- - Hardware all made in the US. - Bearings are now Ceramic with Derlin Cage - Body and clip screws are now TI -Standoffs are threaded instead of the dockside handle, so there is now body screws on both sides -Standoffs now have shoulders that fit into counterbores. ( Acts as locating pins to hold everything together more precisely) - Now have a milled pocket for the base of the clip.
This “Gentleman” sized flipper is smaller than the Turaco or imamba and slightly larger than the Rinkhals Slip Joint. It leverages the same flipper mechanism as the design proven on thousands of imamba flippers and has the same glass-like action and positive lock-up. This knife fills a hole in the folding knife assortment and is engineered to exceed your expectations.
Measures 6.8” overall with a 2.95” blade and a full-sized 3.8” frame featuring a 2.9” handle inlay. Available with an M390 mirror stainless steel blade, M390 stonewashed blade, or Damasteel blade. Phosphor bronze Skiff bearings, with 14 bearings, for smooth operation. One-handed opening using the proven imamba flipper mechanism.
